Booking Terms

These Booking Terms define the booking process for services offered through rentaboatserbia.rs, payment methods, cancellation and refund policies, as well as other important information related to the fulfilment of a booking.

Booking and Deposit

To confirm a booking through rentaboatserbia.rs, a deposit of 20% of the total agreed price is required, unless otherwise agreed for a specific booking.

Payment of the deposit secures the agreed date and time, while the remaining balance is payable on the day the service is provided, unless a different payment method or schedule has been agreed with the client.

Booking Confirmation

Once the deposit payment has been received, the client will receive a booking confirmation containing the essential details, such as the selected boat, date and time, duration of the cruise, boarding location and agreed price.

Please review all information upon receiving the confirmation and contact us promptly if any changes are required.

Payment Methods

Bookings can be paid using the available payment methods agreed upon when the booking is confirmed.

Where card payment is available, the client may receive an individual secure payment link after the availability of the selected date, time and service has been confirmed.

When paying by card, payment card details are entered directly within the secure environment of the payment service provider. rentaboatserbia.rs does not collect or store complete payment card details.

Currency and Price Display

All card transactions made through the website or online payment links are processed in Serbian dinars (RSD).

Prices may also be displayed in euros (EUR) for the convenience of users, particularly international guests. Any price displayed in EUR is for informational purposes only, while the final card transaction is processed in RSD.

If the client's payment card is linked to an account denominated in another currency, the transaction amount may be converted into the currency of the client's account according to the exchange rate and rules applied by the card-issuing bank and/or card scheme. As a result, the final amount charged in the client's account currency may differ from the amount displayed in EUR for informational purposes.

Changes to a Booking

If you wish to change the date, departure time or duration of your booking, please contact us as early as possible.

Subject to the availability of the selected boat and available time slots, we will make every effort to arrange a suitable alternative. Changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Booking Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms depend on the amount of time remaining before the scheduled booking.

• If the client cancels the booking less than 5 days before the scheduled date, the deposit is non-refundable.
• If the client decides not to proceed with the cruise due to their own assessment of the weather conditions, a weather forecast, rain, cloudy weather, wind or similar circumstances, while Rent a Boat Serbia has not determined that safe navigation is not possible, the cancellation will be considered a cancellation initiated by the client and the standard cancellation policy will apply.
• If Rent a Boat Serbia determines, in consultation with the skipper, that weather or river conditions do not allow for safe navigation, the provisions set out under “Adverse Weather Conditions” below will apply.

Refund Policy

Where the client is entitled to a refund under these Booking Terms, the refund will be processed using the appropriate method depending on the original payment method.

For transactions made by payment card, refunds will be processed through the card payment system to the same card used for the original payment. Refunds for transactions originally made by payment card cannot be issued in cash.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the client's account may depend on the card-issuing bank and the relevant card payment system.

Right of Withdrawal

Bookings relate to services provided at a pre-arranged time, specifically on an agreed date and at an agreed time.

The possibility of cancelling a booking and receiving a refund is governed by the terms set out in the “Booking Cancellation” and “Refund Policy” sections on this page.

Adverse Weather Conditions

The safety of our guests and crew is always our highest priority.

Weather forecasts, rain, cloudy weather, wind or a client's personal assessment of weather conditions do not automatically constitute grounds for cancellation or a refund.

Weather conditions will be considered unsuitable for the booked cruise when Rent a Boat Serbia, in consultation with the skipper, determines that the conditions do not allow for safe navigation. As weather, wind and river conditions may change quickly, the final decision may be made close to the scheduled departure time.

If we determine that safe navigation is not possible, the client will first be offered the possibility to reschedule the cruise to another available date or time.

If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged or the client is unable to accept an alternative date or time due to travel arrangements or other reasonable circumstances, the deposit will be refunded in accordance with our Refund Policy.

If the client chooses to cancel the booking before Rent a Boat Serbia has determined that the cruise cannot safely take place, the cancellation will be treated as a cancellation initiated by the client and the standard cancellation policy will apply.

Light rain, cloudy weather, lower temperatures, wind that does not prevent safe navigation, or changes to the cruising route do not by themselves constitute grounds for cancellation or a refund.

Service Fulfilment and Restrictions

The service is provided at the date, time, duration and departure location previously agreed and specified in the booking confirmation.

Due to the nature of the service, there is no physical delivery of products. The client will receive all information regarding the boarding location and other details necessary for the fulfilment of the booking before the scheduled date and time.

The cruising route may depend on the duration of the booking, departure location, weather conditions, river conditions, temporary navigation restrictions and the skipper's assessment regarding safety.

For safety, operational or regulatory reasons, the planned cruising route may be modified before or during the cruise.

Changes to the cruising route caused by weather or river conditions, temporary navigation restrictions, decisions of the competent authorities or safety requirements do not constitute cancellation or non-fulfilment of the service, provided that the cruise itself can safely take place.

Specific landmarks, sections of the river or routes cannot be guaranteed when access is affected by circumstances outside our control.

What Is Included in the Price?

The agreed price generally includes a professional skipper and fuel for the agreed route, unless otherwise stated on the page of the individual boat or in the specific offer provided to the client.

Guests are permitted to bring their own food and beverages on board at no additional charge, unless otherwise stated for a specific boat.

Additional Services

Additional services such as catering, beverages, ice, decorations, a DJ, photographer or other services may be arranged upon request.

Additional services are arranged separately and are not included in the standard price unless otherwise stated in the specific offer.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are required to follow the skipper's instructions and the rules of conduct on board throughout the entire cruise.

The skipper has the right to alter, temporarily interrupt or terminate the cruise if they determine that the behaviour of guests, weather conditions, river conditions or other circumstances may compromise the safety of guests, crew or the vessel.

Guests are required to comply with the skipper's safety decisions at all times.

A route modification, temporary stop or early return made for safety reasons does not automatically entitle the client to a full or partial refund. Any refund or alternative arrangement will be assessed based on the circumstances of the individual booking.

Damage to the Vessel

If the vessel, equipment or onboard inventory is damaged during use as a result of intentional conduct or negligence by guests, the client may be held responsible for the resulting repair or replacement costs.

If you have a complaint regarding a booking, payment or service provided, you can contact us by email at booking@rentaboatserbia.rs.

Please include your full name, contact details, booking information and a brief description of the reason for your complaint so that we can review and process your request.

Complaints will be handled and responded to in accordance with the deadlines and obligations prescribed by applicable regulations.

Acceptance of the Booking Terms

Before making an online payment, users will be given the opportunity to review the applicable Booking Terms.

By making a booking and, where applicable, confirming acceptance of these terms before payment, the user confirms that they have read and understood the rules regarding bookings, payments, cancellations and refunds.

Details regarding price, duration, capacity, equipment, departure location and additional services may vary depending on the selected boat and specific offer and will be defined when the booking is confirmed.
